Edinburgh Markets provides an affordable and flexible way to sell without huge overheads for new and small local enterprises. Offering city centre locations and a unique atmosphere that will help businesses gain new customers and contacts, these are traditional markets but with a community focus, not only selling a mix of food, clothes, arts/crafts and gifts but also organising events and developing social projects to help build community.
Founded in May 2011, Edinburgh Markets are currently developing our first community marketplace, at the top of Broughton Street, with a Festival Market in August, a Christmas Market in December and a weekly market from March to July. The Edinburgh St Mary’s Market market operates weekly from 9am – 2pm every Saturday, by St Mary’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Leith Street. Prices start from £25 per week with a minimum commitment of four weeks. Stalls can be hired out for individuals and organisations planning any one-off craft fairs or events.
