Have you ever considered applying for a non-executive role but been discouraged by the process or the level of skill and experience required? Becoming a voluntary sector trustee is a great way to start your Board journey in an environment that thrives on diversity and values input from all those committed to developing both themselves and the charities they support.
We are excited to be hosting this panel discussion which will focus on the roles and responsibilities of a trustee and provide first hand experience of being on a Board. This informal session will invite open participation and ensure delegates walk away feeling confident and informed about the process of becoming a trustee.
This event is being co-hosted by ACOSVO. ACOSVO exists to support, strengthen and inspire third sector leaders and senior staff in Scotland. Established in 2000, ACOSVO is a membership organisation with a growing membership of over 400 leaders. Membership ranges from those who lead smaller, community-based organisations to those who head up some of the largest charities in Scotland.
