Cyrenians – Food Production

Food Production
From our Flavour and Haver Cook School, now a food production kitchen, we are responding to the COVID-19 crisis by offering free cooked meals delivered to vulnerable/elderly/ isolated people and families in the community. We also provide meals for NHS staff in Edinburgh as well as people in temporary accommodation. We are producing around 700 meals per day, catering for a wide variety of dietary needs, for distribution 7 days a week.

Cyrenians Food Education (currently suspended due to the COVID-19 crisis)
Our Food Education service, based in our Flavour and Haver Cook School in Leith, helps people eat well on a budget and provides space for people to enjoy cooking and eating socially. We encourage a healthy attitude towards food and break down barriers through running our weekly community cook clubs. We also run cooking courses and support people to achieve accredited certificates. Our income comes from running master classes, supper clubs and accredited classes for the general public, through event space and kitchen hire as well as catering.
