Bare Branding represents the unique transformation of a private business into a social enterprise aimed at encouraging local people to learn new skills and work together. It borrows from the Maker Movement and the open-access studio approach used in other cities to bring useful and marketable skills to the general public.

Columcille has an events venue with stage, a cafe, kitchen, meeting/therapy room and an experienced performing Ceilidh band for hire. Columcille trading includes and supports people with learning disabilities and sells joinery and garden products, including planters, window boxes and craft produce.
Cyan Clayworks is a working ceramic studio. We make and exhibit ceramics, run courses and bespoke workshops and offer individual tuition, facility hire and technical support. The studio is a creative hub for all things ceramic, run by experienced artists with a passion and enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge.
The club provide a monthly blues event, featuring touring blues acts from the UK and beyond, with support from the finest local blues artists. We have a choice of venues and a core membership who pay a regular payment for entry to all our events at a discount to individual ticket sales. It is our intention to carry out related activities which benefit the community such as workshops and master-classes in the blues.

The Grassmarket Community Project supports people through transitions in their lives and re-connects the disengaged. They run four social enterprises through the project: their successful wood workshop GrOW, creating bespoke pieces of furniture from recycled wood; a purpose-designed conference and event space; a cafe and catering service and the manufacture of tartan items including their very own “greyfriars” tartan.
Hadeel sells a wide range of Palestinian hand-crafted, Fairtrade gifts, including hand-carved olive wood, stunning embroidery and a variety of other gift items both online and in store. Hadeel provides a sustainable source of income for craftspeople working with social enterprises in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Galilee and the Negev.
Heathers specialises in design and branding for ethical organisations across the third sector. Offering a bespoke, one-to-one service, Heather is passionate about making a positive impact on people and communities within Scotland.
Delivering exciting site-specific events across the length and breadth of Scotland, Hoda run workshops which integrate animation and music to bring out the best in young people, with playful outdoor activities to educate and raise awareness of the arts This transforms lives through developing self-awareness in relation to the environment.
Enterprising Art and venue hire funds arts programmes for young people, helping them increase their future life prospects and prevent homelessness. We also help prevent isolation and encourage social inclusion in older people, using visual arts, music, drama, dance and technology in a range of dynamic projects.
