Volunteer opportunities at Social in the Gardens 2018
'Festival of Social Enterprise' Ross Bandstand, Princes St Gardens, Edinburgh | Fri 27 & Sat 28 July | 10am - 8pm
This year we are looking for up to 50 volunteers over 2 days to undertake the following roles:
Volunteer Co-ordinator - we are looking for 1 or 2 people to work a few hours a week from now until the festival to help recruit and train the volunteers, and support them on the days of the festival. General volunteers - we need a squad of can-do folks to help out at the festival with, for example, setting up, meeting and greeting the general public, signposting visitors to information, keeping the area clean and tidy, encouraging members of the public to visit the festival. First aiders - we are looking for 8 volunteer first aiders (who have a valid qualification, minimum of the 24 hour/standard training course) to be on site to help if required. Description SitG18 volunteer 1st aider | Application form SitG18 volunteer application
All volunteers are covered by our insurance and will receive meals and expenses as detailed in the accompanying volunteer role descriptions.
